Is there a fee for a consultation?
It depends on your case type. For injury cases the consultation is free. For all other case types your attorney will quote a consultation fee during your scheduling call and that fee will count toward your retainer, should you retain the firm for the service.
Do I have to pay legal fees up front?
It all depends on your case type. For injury cases the answer is no because as allowed by the legislature these cases are handled on a “contingency fee” basis meaning you do not pay a fee until your case settles. For all other case types the fee is determined based on type and difficulty and is due before services commence.
Do I really need a lawyer?
The simple answer is no. Our system is set up for everyday folks to self educate and advocate for themselves. However, the best way to explain what we suggest is to think of what you would do if you encountered a plumbing issue in your home. It is a good rule of thumb to leave it to the experts— the law is no different.
